In 2023 and 2024, the Undiscovered Brand Mobile Soup Kitchen became one of the most meaningful things we have ever done as a company. Two years of showing up, rolling up our sleeves, and feeding hundreds of community members across Gauteng alongside our incredible partners at YIM.
Then 2025 came – and life had other plans.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to make the incredibly difficult decision to pause the initiative last year. It was heartbreaking. But we never stopped thinking about the communities we serve, the faces we’ve seen, and the warmth we know a simple bowl of soup can bring on a cold Joburg winter’s day.
So this year, we are coming back – stronger, more determined, and more grateful than ever.
The Undiscovered Brand Mobile Soup Kitchen 2026 is officially on, and once again we are proud to be doing it hand in hand with our trusted partners at YIM (Yakha Ikusasa Manje Health Development Centre).
Two Locations. Two Communities. One Mission.
This year we will be showing up at two locations across Gauteng:

∙🗓️ 18 July 2026 — Kingsway / Lindelani Area
Our Goal: Feed 600 Mouths This Winter
This year, we have set our sights on feeding 600 people across both locations. That’s 600 warm bowls of soup. 600 moments of human connection. 600 reminders that no matter what life throws at us — community always finds its way back to community.
But to get there — we need you.

Behind every bowl of soup is a list of needs that makes it all possible.

- 🥣 Soup containers — to serve and distribute soup on the day
- 🍞 Bread sponsorship — because every bowl is better with a slice
- 🥄 Plastic spoons — practical, essential, and always needed in bulk
- 🔥 Gas for our stoves — to keep those pots hot and the soup flowing
- 🥕 Fresh vegetables & cooking ingredients — the foundation of every warm meal
- 🧥 Blankets and warm clothing — because feeding the body is only half the battle in the middle of a Joburg winter
No contribution is too small.
